Featuring the Curt Teich Archive Collection
For the past 25 years, postcard collectors throughout the
world have eagerly looked forward to obtaining cards from this well known
collection. Acquired by the Lake County Discovery Museum in Wauconda, Il in
1982, the Archives comprises 2 or 3 examples of every image printed by the
Curt Teich Publishing company from 1898 to 1978, during which time they were
the world’s largest producer of advertising postcards and views. Jackson’s
International is pleased to present to you this first installment of
duplicate cards de-accessioned by the Lake County Discovery Museum, together
with property from the Jack Davis Collection, Bozeman, MT; the Doctor Thomas
Thornton Trust, Waterloo, Iowa; the Danny Danielson Collection, O’Fallon,
Illinois; and the extensive inventory of Matrix Gallery Picture Postcards,
Long Island, NY.
