Fred
Lancome was born in 1911 in Brussels, Belgium. At the age of
eighteen he entered the Academic Des Beaux Arts in Paris,
France, where he studied with Frederic Litman. In 1940 he came
to the United States, working for several years with Franc
Epping, and for a short time with Bertha Margoles and Nathan
Choate. He has had many one-man and group-shows in museums and
galleries in the East, and frequently lectured at schools,
colleges and to adult groups. |
