A DEEPLY CARVED FIGURAL DOOR PANEL, probably Spanish and probably 17th century. The carved panel depicting the resurrected Christ standing atop His empty tomb with Roman soldiers on either side. The verso of door painted with an image of St. Veronica holding the Holy cloth or veil. Panel retains hand wrought hinges. Most certainly a tabernacle door.
