A FINE FOLK ART CARVED ANGEL 19th century American (possibly Pennsylvania) the one piece pine plank naively carved with the face of an angel with cheerful expression and out stretched wings with radiating layered feathers. Remnants of original polychroming and light weathering with grayish patina. Back exhibits rough marks from the use of an adze. Length to wing tips 41", Height 9".

AN INTERESTING FOLK ART CARVED WOODEN ANGEL 19th century American, most likely carved to suspend above a manger scene. The relief carved angel holding the star of Bethlehem and a scroll with a faded inscription that begins: "Glory to God in the ..." Right arm with old iron work repair. Length 28", Height 17".

AN INTERESTING 19TH CENTURY LINCOLN MEMORIAL probably 1875 (for the ten year anniversary of Lincoln's death) containing a white painted cast iron profile of Lincoln surrounded by a wreath of wire stemmed wax silk flowers, grouped with ribbon tied and waxed silk roses and calla lilies and surmounted by a mounted white dove with wings spread in flight. Displayed in the original deeply recessed period shadow box with incised gilt and ebonized frame. 31"x 23"x 6.5".
