Remnants of original polychroming and light weathering with grayish patina. Back exhibits rough marks from the use of an adze. Length to wing tips 41", Height 9". Lot 185 AN INTERESTING FOLK ART CARVED WOODEN ANGEL 19th century American, most likely carved to suspend above a manger scene. The relief carved angel holding the star of Bethlehem and a scroll with a faded inscription that begins: "Glory to God in the ..." Right arm with old iron work repair. Length 28", Height 17". Lot 186 AN INTERESTING 19TH CENTURY LINCOLN MEMORIAL probably 1875 (for the ten year anniversary of Lincoln's death) containing a white painted cast iron profile of Lincoln surrounded by a wreath of wire stemmed wax silk flowers, grouped with ribbon tied and waxed silk roses and calla lilies and surmounted by a mounted white dove with wings spread in flight.
