Lot 991 A RARE AND SPECTACULAR DAUM NANCY CAMEO GLASS FOOTED VASE circa 1910. The ovoid body of gray glass internally decorated with white mottling interspread with splashes of lemon yellow and royal blue overlaid with royal blue and pale blue shading to turquoise cut with a design of astor blossoms in blue with intertwining buds and large leafy foliage against a partial Martele' ground. The blossoms with radiating wheel carved petals and Martele' centers in turquoise. The whole rising from a circular base cut with a floral design in royal blue shading to turquoise on a concentric three ring stem. An extremely fine example colors simulating Tiffany blue favrile. Signed in cameo "Daum Nancy". Height 15.75". Estimate $10,000-$15,000 |
