A RARE ENGLISH MOTHER OF PEARL AND ENAMELED ART GLASS LAMP, circa 1880, the white satin body and matching font with air-trapped in a "Flower and Acorn" design enameled with Japanese cherry blossoms, resting on a bronze footed base with lions heads. Burner marked "Hinks & Sons Patent" and "Sherwoods Limited". Also bears retailers soldered tag "T.R. Grimes, New Bond St., London, some flakes under font lip. Height with shade 22".
