AN OUTSTANDING FRENCH GILT BRONZE RELIQUARY in the shape of a
Gothic cathedral, 19th century. Resting on four paw feet, the
rectangular form with Gothic arched windows on each side and with a
massive roof structure mounted with a cross. The interior with velvet
pillow displaying oval encased reliquary displaying the following
relics: St. Joseph s.p., St. Gervasii M., St. August F.D., St. Anne Matr.,

A FRENCH GILDED BRONZE FIGURAL RELIQUARY in the form of a Gothic
structure, 19th century. Resting on four ball feet and of rectangular
shape with arched windows on each side. The interior with red velvet
displaying three individual reliquaries, one apparently displaying four
relics of the passion, the next apparently a first class relic placed on
a flower form or rose blossom and below printed "Teresiae Vr"
and the last also a first class relic and identified as "Ex Ossib
S. Alberiel Conf." Each reliquary displaying an undisturbed wax
seal on verso. Without lid (roof). 10"x8.5". Estimate

AN OUTSTANDING FRENCH GILT BRONZE RELIQUARY in the shape of a
Gothic cathedral, 19th century. The rectangular form resting on four
claw feet with Gothic style arched windows on each side and the cupola
tower displaying a figure of the Virgin and Child. The exterior with red
velvet pillow displaying wrapped relics embellished with paste stones.
They include St. Elisabeth Viduce, St. Victor et M., St. Martini Ep.,
St. Margaritha M., St. Benedict Joseph Labre., St. Anton Abalis, St.

A FINE GILT BRONZE RELIQUARY in the form of a Gothic frame, 19th
century. The interior with red material set with four reliquaries and
other related items. At top a reliquary cross when opened reveals
receptacle for relics and displays "Agnus Dei, Catacombs and S.P.
Dominic." Below an old glazed reliquary inscribed "De Ossibus
S. Victoria V.M." and with red wax seal on verso. At center a large
enameled plaque of "Our Lady of Cuba". On either side turned
wood reliquaries with relics, labels indistinguishable. And at the base
a large beautifully carved shell depicting the Last Supper, a Holy Land

AN IMPORTANT FRENCH RELIQUARY containing a relic of the True
Cross. Resting on six ball feet supporting a dome which holds a cross
form of wood depicting Adam and Eve. At the center a glazed exposition
window displaying a silver hinged cross with round exposition and
mounted on a red velvet pillow. The exposition window displaying two
slivers of wood in a cross form and below the words "Ex Vera Cruce".

AN IMPORTANT ITALIAN CARVED AND GILT WOOD RELIQUARY displaying
relics of the twelve Apostles, 18th/19th century. Rising from an
elaborately carved base the central stem supporting the main exposition
window which is set with a bronzed framed reliquary cast with figures of
the Apostles Peter and Paul. The reliquary displaying fourteen relics
including the Apostle Thaddei, Barnabae, Andrew, Phillip, Matthew,
Simon, Bartholomew, James, Peter, Paul, Thomas, and John. Also two other
relics apparently relating to the Passion. Height 16".

A FINE 19TH CENTURY FRENCH GILT-BRONZE FIGURAL RELIQUARY. The
triangular base with two lions supporting a pedestal holding two winged
cherubs who hold a bouquet of lilies mounted with a sphere and cross and
displaying an oval exposition window set with red velvet and displaying
a first class relic of Saint Alexandra, the verso displaying an intact
red seal with undisturbed thread. Verso with handle for veneration.

an exposition window framed with a carved wreath of palms. The
exposition window set with an ornate glazed reliquary displaying
numerous relics and inscribed "St. Elisab. V.", "S.
Franc. Ass.", "Sister Nari P.M.", B. John a Cruz",
S. Felicis M.", S. Donati", "S. Leonardi", "S,
Tersie V.C.", Fascia D.N.J.C.", "S. Ambrosi" and

CANDLE HOLDER finely carved cross with gilt edge rolled floral forms
atop black velvet set with relics including "Saint Anne",

at the base, carved with swags and acanthus. Beautiful!
