AN EXCEPTIONAL SIOUX BOYS COAT, circa 1890. Horse, deer, buffalo, bird and pipe beaded elements on front and back, with Sioux blue border, red white heart and cut metal bead trim. Fringe across yoke in back, down sleeves, around collar and across bottom. Interior lined in muslin. Remnants of silk piping on edges and remnants of quill on rear collar fringe. Width across sleeves 41 inches.
