A SOUTHERN PLAINS OR PLATEAU TOY CRADLE                on brain-tanned leather, Cheyenne or Arapaho, circa 1902. Cyenne pinks an greasy yellow beads predominate with hourglass elements. Peking glass, cobalt and French brass pony beads and bells, as well as dentilium shell decorate hood and top crown. Wooden board has additional top frame to support traditional leather flap. Verso inscribed, "Purchased in SW Colorado, 1902." Length 23", width 8.5", depth 3.5".

A GOOD CREE PAD SADDLE WITH STIRRUPS, circa 1885. Tanned hide with floral beaded teardrops at each corner and suspended panels from same drops at bottom. Commercial stirrups, probably Army issue, and cinch finding of harness leather. Length 22", width 29.5". Stirrup hangs from the middle of the saddle approximately 30", width 2.5".

A VERY GOOD UTE TOY CRADLE, circa 1903. With doll, head missing, beaded fabric cover on board and hood, including white hearts and Cheyenne blues, yellow ochre stained. Inscribed "Purchased in SW Colorado". Length 14.25", width 5.5", depth 3".
