A VERY FINE C.S.A. CAST BRASS RECTANGULAR "TENNESSEE-STYLE" WAIST PLATE overall deep rich brown patina. Hooks intact with slight tip of one missing, original bend and nice reddish tint to brass. Size: 66mmx43mm. Provenance: The General W.W. Belknap collection (see previous lot).

US CIVIL WAR OVAL BELT. Excellent condition, arrow head prongs, piece of original belt remains. Green patina.

MILITARY SWORD/PISTOL BELT. Medium weight, deep brown to black leather, 37" long, 1.75" wide. Lead filled brass oval plate with puppy-paw studs, front shows the coat-of-arms of Arkansas in relief. Nice old patina on lead and brass.

U.S. CIVIL WAR CAVALRY CARBINE SLING. Complete and uncut. Perfect. Leather is supple. No markings on snaffle hook. A large "G" on the face of the belt.

U.S.N. POWDER FLASK. Ames with fouled anchor. Dated 1843, WAT, proofed. Complete. Has both carrying rings. One holdown screw in spout collar has stripped threads (screw still there). No dents, no seam separation. Clean, no varnish. Spring sound.
