BUYING/BIDDINGat auction

Bidding in Person
As a registered bidder, you may begin bidding on any item by simply raising your paddle in response to the auctioneers request for a bid. The bidding will continue until the other bidders surpass your limit or you are the highest bidder.

Internet Bidding
Bidders can use our interactive website to easily submit bids for any of our auctions. To submit an online bid follow these simple step-by-step instructions:
FIRST read the Conditions of Sale .
THEN fill out the Online Absentee Bid form and click submit.
If you have not bid with us before you will need to fill out the bidder approval form to write a check.
You can contact us to see if you are successful two business days after the auction. If you have supplied us with a fax or e-mail we will contact you in that manner.  If not we will mail you an invoice for the lots you successfully purchased. For a list of prices realized, send a self-addressed stamped envelope with a note indicating which auction results you desire. Bidding closes at noon the day before the start of the auction.

Absentee Bidding
Absentee bid forms are available online, and are included in each catalog . To submit absentee bids, fill out the absentee form completely, indicating the lot numbers, descriptions of the items, and the maximum price you are willing to pay for each lot. In turn, Jackson’s will execute your bids, trying to purchase the lots of your choice for the lowest price possible.

Phone Bidding
Jackson’s offers phone bidding on selected items. Once you have arranged to bid by phone, one of our representatives will call you a short time before the designated lot is offered for sale, and will act as your agent when the item reaches the block. Fill out an Absentee/Phone bid form here.
