Egorov was a student of the drawing school at the Imperial Society for the Encouragement of Arts from 1898-1901. He was a non-enrolled student at the Imperial Academy of Arts from 1901-1909. He began to exhibit in St. Petersburg in 1907. He was a member of the Kuindzhi Society from 1911 and exhibited with the Itinerants 1916-1918. Shortly after the Revolution he returned to the city of his birth, Tallin Estonia where he produced and exhibited until his death in 1954. His specially was nostalgic and romantic winter landscapes.
